When we first launched our bed linen in Snow White, something else quietly began to take shape.
Not a hotel in the traditional sense, but a feeling – the beginning of Hotel de Juniper. A world I could picture so clearly: the calm atmosphere, the soft light, the textures… and most of all, the scent.
It wasn’t a physical place, but a feeling – one that we’ve continued to build through every product. And with Juniper, that feeling can now move into your home.
More than a product. A beginning.
Launching a fragrance felt like a big step. In 2021, we introduced bed linens and terry towels – but scent is something different. It's more personal. More emotional.
So when we decided to launch Mont Fort in 2022, I was nervous – and full of anticipation. This wasn’t just another product. It was a way of inviting you into the Juniper world. A world we’ve built slowly, through every detail, every product, every conversation with you.
The heart of Mont Fort
The fragrance itself took nearly two years to develop. From the beginning, I knew exactly where the inspiration came from: the Alps. Crisp mountain air, tall pine trees, quiet mornings with my family. That feeling of stepping into a chateau tucked away in the hills. Fresh, free, but deeply comforting.
We captured that feeling in scent notes:
• Top: juniper berries and bergamot
• Heart: pine and patchouli
• Base: tonka bean and musk
Bring the boutique hotel feeling home
We wanted to create something that reminded you of walking into a small boutique hotel – you know that moment when you pause and think, what is that amazing scent? When the fragrance becomes part of the experience, part of the memory. It makes you feel calm, at ease, a little more in love with the world.
That’s the feeling we wanted to capture – and I dare say we did.

Made with care – for you, and for the planet
Sustainability has always been non-negotiable for us. Our hand soap and lotion are made in Sweden, 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and free from parabens and sulfates. The candle follows the same principles, made in France with 100% plant-based wax from rapeseed oil.
For me, a scent is never just a scent.
It affects how we feel, what we remember, and how we experience home.

Today, Mont Fort lives not only in the homes of our customers – often on subscription – but also at some of Sweden’s most beloved restaurants in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. Being part of that atmosphere, helping shape the guest experience, means the world to me.
Mont Fort isn’t just a product line.
It’s a part of building the Juniper world.
