Christmas Morning

Hufvudsta Gård sits quietly along Ulvsundafjärden, just outside Stockholm, with a history reaching back to the 1300s, when it was known as the medieval estate of Hudhastum. It has seen its share of intrigue since, including a supporting role in the schemes around King Gustav III in the 1700s. What remains today is a careful balance: old stone and old wood, restored rather than replaced, standing alongside whatever the present asks of it. We spent a quiet winter morning there with our latest collection, in a house that has never needed to try.
