Understanding GSM: The Fabric Density That Defines Quality

GSM stands for grams per square meter – a key measurement of fabric density. When it comes to towels, GSM reveals how much cotton is used per square meter, which directly affects softness, absorbency, and durability.


- Lower GSM (300–400): Thin, quick-drying, and travel-friendly, but less plush.


- Higher GSM (600–800): Thicker, more luxurious, highly absorbent – ideal for home use.

Why 700 GSM Towels Feel So Different
