Our percale weave is made from the gold standard of wood-based fibers - 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell - made by our Austrian partner. Unique physical properties of TENCEL™ Lyocell makes it wick away moisture efficiently and in combination with the percale weave, which makes these sheet breath well and are therefore excellent for warm sleepers.
Material
Woven from 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell in a 300 thread count percale: light, smooth and moisture-wicking, sustainably produced from wood pulp in Austria. Made at a family mill in Portugal. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
Care
Wash every one to two weeks, separately, at 40 to 60°C (around 1000 rpm). Tumble dry on a low setting, or hang while damp to ease creases. Iron for that crisp, hotel-fresh finish.

How does Juniper's Tencel Lyocell Percale differ from other bed linens?
We weave 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell (fibre spun from sustainably managed eucalyptus wood pulp) into a 300 thread count percale. Everything is made in a family-owned factory in Portugal that has crafted bed linens since 1948. The result is lighter and smoother than cotton percale, with the same crisp, hotel-like feel.
Why is Juniper able to sell bed linens of this quality at a lower price point than other brands?

Is Tencel Lyocell Percale right for me?
If you sleep warm or want a lighter, smoother alternative to cotton, yes: Lyocell wicks away moisture more efficiently than cotton and has a cool, silky-matte hand. If you prefer a fuller, more traditional cotton percale, our Classic Cotton Percale may suit you better. What is TENCEL™ Lyocell and how is it made?
TENCEL™ Lyocell is a botanic fibre made by our Austrian partner from the wood pulp of sustainably managed eucalyptus trees, using a closed-loop process that recovers and reuses almost all of its solvents. The result is a fibre that is soft, breathable and biodegradable, with a naturally smooth surface that feels cool against the skin.
Will Tencel Lyocell keep me cooler than cotton?
Most people find it so. Lyocell fibres absorb and release moisture more efficiently than cotton, which helps regulate temperature through the night, a common choice for warmer sleepers or warmer climates.
For how long will the bed linens last?
With proper care you should expect more than ten years of daily use. We recommend keeping two sets per bed and rotating them, which further extends the lifespan of each set.
