The fit
An adjustable strap, not a fixed elastic
The mask fastens with an adjustable hook-and-loop strap rather than a fixed elastic band, so you can set exactly the tension you want, snug enough to block light, without pressure marks in the morning.

Frequently asked questions
Is a silk sleep mask actually better than a regular one?
Yes. The same smooth, low-friction surface that makes silk pillowcases gentle on skin and hair does the same for the delicate skin around your eyes: less tugging and creasing than a cotton or synthetic mask, night after night.
Will the strap feel too tight or leave marks?
The mask fastens with an adjustable hook-and-loop strap rather than a fixed elastic band, so you can set exactly the tension you want, snug enough to block light, without pressure marks in the morning.
Does one size fit everyone?
The strap adjusts across a wide enough range to fit most head sizes comfortably, and the contoured shape is designed to sit over the eyes without pressing on eyelashes or lids.
What's the silk itself made from?
The same 100% Grade 6A mulberry silk, at a smooth 28 momme weight, as our pillowcases, sourced as peace silk, meaning the silkworms complete their full life cycle before the cocoons are harvested.
How do I clean it?
Hand wash in cool water or use a mesh bag on your machine's gentlest cycle. Never spin or tumble dry. Lay flat to dry.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days, though as a personal care item it needs to be unopened and in its original packaging.
Does darkness actually matter for sleep quality?
Yes. Even small amounts of light reaching your eyes at night can suppress melatonin, the hormone that regulates sleep. A well-fitted mask blocks that light more completely and more comfortably than curtains alone, which is part of why sleep masks are common advice for lighter sleepers, shift workers, and travel across time zones.
