THE CREATIVE MIND BEHIND JUNIPER
In 2018, founder Mathilda Wibom Westerberg, husband Jacob, and their daughter Juni spent the couple’s honeymoon vacation at Gran Hotel Son Net near the Tramuntana mountains in Mallorca. Recovering from hard work, the stress of arranging a wedding, and adding a new family member in the span of six months.
The stay at the secluded luxury boutique hotel was one of the best experiences the family had ever had. The service was friendly; the food was spectacular; the garden was full of the most well-kept Juniper trees imaginable, and the whole family slept like babies.
And shortly after checking out from the boutique hotel Mathilda started working on Juniper. With the ambition and dream to bring the same joy, she had felt at that hotel into people’s everyday lives. By designing great home essentials, removing the luxury markups, traditional brands had gotten consumers used to, and providing an exceptional customer experience, just like at a boutique hotel.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Still uncertain? Find the answers here.
How does Juniper towels differ from other towels?
The vast majority of towels are created from long-staple cotton, we create ours from 100% Supima extra-long-staple cotton. In other words, we use better raw materials.
From this superior raw material, we create a 700 g/sqm terry. This isn’t unique, you’ll find a similar weight with other premium brands. But the combination of the best cotton in the world and a heavy terry is exceptionally rare.
The towels are so soft you’ll look forward to stepp out of the shower in the morning.
Are Juniper towels right for me?
The short answer is, yes most likely.
As long as you are in the market for new terry towels, this is the best of the best. There is no upgrade after this regardless of what you pay.
In fact, we are so confident that these towels are right for you that you can buy our towelsnens and try them in the comfort of your own home for 30 days.
And if you, for any reason, don’t want to keep the towels, we will take them back and issue a full refund. As simple as that.
How often should I wash my Juniper towels?
Probably more often than you think. Our towels are no different from other towels when it comes to washing frequency. That means your towels should be washed every week if you use them daily.
What is Supima cotton and how is it better for me?
Not all kinds of cotton are equal. Supima and regular cotton are, in fact, two different species of cotton.
The most common type of cotton grown worldwide typically has a fiber length of about 1 inch, whereas Supima cotton’s fiber averages 1.5 inches.
Shorter fibers produce yarns that are rougher and subject to pilling on the surface of the product, while longer fibers contribute to strength and softness.
Supima cotton is grown at 500 primarily family-owned farms mainly located in California.
It represents less than 1% of cotton grown worldwide and is the most expensive widely commercially available cotton in the world due to its high quality standards and commitment to sustainable farming.
