What type of cotton are you using?
We are using Supima cotton, it is Extra-Long Staple cotton grown in California, USA. The cotton that qualifies for being Supima cotton represents less than 1% of cotton grown in the world. The long fibers in Supima cotton give the cotton its premium properties: Incredible strength, unparalleled softness and increased color retention. Quite amazing right?
How do I know that Juniper's products are made with Supima cotton?
We are licensed by the Supima organization, which permits us to use the Supima brand and logo. Juniper and everyone involved in our value chain are certified by the Supima organization. You can also find us on Supima’s webpage on listed companies using Supima cotton.
What is the difference between Supima cotton and Egyptian Cotton?
Good question! All Supima cotton is premium, extra-long-staple cotton. Egyptian cotton only references the country of origin and does not implicate any measure of quality. About 25% of Egyptian cotton is extra-long-staple, but the majority of Egyptian cotton is of a long-staple or a regular cotton variety. If you want to know more or have further questions please contact our customer support and they are happy to tell you more.

Should I wash my new bed linens or towels before using them?
Washing your linens before use isn’t a requirement, but it’s highly recommended.
How do I launder my towels?
These towels are both super absorbent and quick to dry. Even so, washing your towels regularly is important to have them stay fresh over the long term. Wash at least every week and separately from other laundry and ensure there is sufficient room in the machine. Wash at 40-60° Celsius at centrifuge ~1000 rpm. We highly recommend tumble drying until close to dry. Hang to dry while still a little bit wet to decrease wrinkles.
How do I launder my bed linens?
We recommend washing before first use and changing sheets at least every two weeks after that. Wash on warm cycle or at 40 C. We recommend using a softener every other time. Tumble dry at low heat and tumble cycle, or line dry to preserve fibers, color, and elasticity. If you iron your sheets, do so at medium temperature. If you feel your sheets need a brightening, add bleach and wash as usual.
Do not dry clean.
Do your bed linens wrinkle?
Unlike many bed linen brands, we don’t use any artificial wrinkle-free chemicals in our sheets. Like any 100% cotton product, your sheets will naturally wrinkle but your sheets will wrinkle less and less with every wash and use. We recommend hanging drying your sheets to prevent significant wrinkling. If you prefer to use a dryer, we recommend taking your sheets out of the dryer 5 minutes before the cycle ends and hanging them to dry.
Can I get samples?
Yes, you have the option to order bed linen samples. By ordering fabric samples, you can visualize how each color will appear in your bedroom. Please send us an email at care@jun-per.com to request the fabric samples.

If there are any mistakes in the manufacturing, you are covered for the first full year.

Yes, we are happy to say that all our products are certified with STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX.
