450 gsm Supima cotton

The finish
A yarn-dyed stripe
The stripe is yarn-dyed rather than printed: each thread is coloured before it is woven, so the pattern runs all the way through the cotton and won't fade or crack with washing.

The details
A hand-sewn, seamless belt
The belt is hand-sewn as one seamless length rather than pieced together, made at the same family-owned factory outside Porto as the robe itself.

Frequently asked questions
How does Juniper's Finca Bathrobe differ from other bathrobes?
We weave 100% extra-long-staple Supima cotton into a dense, lightly twisted 450 g/m² terry, with the stripe yarn-dyed rather than printed and a hand-sewn seamless belt. Made at a family-owned factory just outside Porto.
Why is Juniper able to sell robes of this quality at a lower price point than other brands?
We spend very little on advertising. We trust that delivering a superior product at a better price will make people talk, so our customers do the marketing for us by recommending Juniper to their friends.
How do I pick the right size?
Sizing runs by height rather than the usual XS-XL: Extra Small fits below 166cm, Small/Medium below 177cm, and Large/Extra large above 177cm. If you are between sizes, or unsure, every order comes with a 30 day trial and a full refund if you are not satisfied.
What does 450 gsm mean and how will it impact me?
GSM is grams per square metre — the standard measure of terry weight. More weight generally means more cotton in the loop, so a higher-gsm robe absorbs more before it feels damp and tends to feel more substantial. 450 gsm sits in the plush, hotel-weight range without becoming slow to dry.
Which colour should I choose?
Finca comes in three yarn-dyed stripes (Juniper Green, Coral Pink and Lemon Yellow) named for the Mallorca finca that inspired the collection. All three share the same 450 gsm Supima terry and construction, so it comes down to which colourway suits your bathroom.
For how long will the robe last?
With proper care you should expect several years of regular use before it starts to thin.
