Woven from 100% mulberry silk, finest Grade 6A, in a smooth 28 momme weight. Certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and produced sustainably in Portugal.
Gentle on skin. Less friction against your face while you sleep means fewer sleep lines, and a more even moisture balance by morning.
Kind to hair. Our 28 momme weight gives an especially smooth surface, so hair glides rather than catches, for less frizz and fewer split ends.
Temperature regulating. The tight weave adjusts with your body, cooler on warm nights, warmer on cold ones.
Hypoallergenic. Naturally resistant to dust mites, a cleaner surface for allergy sufferers.
Care
Hand wash separately in cool water, or use a mesh laundry bag on your machine's gentlest cycle. Never spin or tumble dry. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight, and iron on the lowest setting if needed. Silk rewards a little extra care with years of wear.

What makes mulberry silk different from other silk?
Mulberry silk comes from silkworms fed exclusively on mulberry leaves, producing the longest, most uniform fibres of any silk type. We use Grade 6A, the highest commercial grade, which is what gives our pillowcases their smooth, consistent sheen rather than the slubbed texture of lower grades.
What does 28 momme mean?
Momme is silk's version of thread count: it measures the weight and density of the weave. 28 momme is a substantial weight for bedding: dense enough to feel luxurious and hold its lustre, without becoming stiff.
Is silk actually good for your skin and hair?
Yes. Silk's smooth surface creates far less friction than cotton, which helps prevent sleep creases, reduces frizz, and cuts down on hair breakage overnight. It's also naturally hypoallergenic and resists dust mites, and because it doesn't draw moisture the way cotton does, your skin keeps more of its own hydration through the night.
How is the silk sourced?
Ours is peace silk: silkworms are left undisturbed to complete their full life cycle and leave the cocoon naturally as moths, rather than being harvested inside it. The factory also uses every part of the cocoon (outer layers and unspun fibres included) to keep waste to a minimum.
Why does silk need special care?
Silk is a natural protein fibre, more delicate than cotton: machine agitation and heat break it down faster. Hand washing (or a mesh bag on the gentlest cycle) and air drying keep it performing and looking its best for years rather than months.
Can I return it if I don't like it?
Yes, within 30 days, though as a personal care item, it needs to be unopened and in its original packaging. Our bed linens are different: those come with a full 30-night trial, so you can return them even after you have slept on them.
