THE CREATIVE MIND BEHIND JUNIPER
In 2018, founder Mathilda Wibom Westerberg, husband Jacob, and their daughter Juni spent the couple’s honeymoon vacation at Gran Hotel Son Net near the Tramuntana mountains in Mallorca. Recovering from hard work, the stress of arranging a wedding, and adding a new family member in the span of six months.
The stay at the secluded luxury boutique hotel was one of the best experiences the family had ever had. The service was friendly; the food was spectacular; the garden was full of the most well-kept Juniper trees imaginable, and the whole family slept like babies.
And shortly after checking out from the boutique hotel Mathilda started working on Juniper. With the ambition and dream to bring the same joy, she had felt at that hotel into people’s everyday lives. By designing great home essentials, removing the luxury markups, traditional brands had gotten consumers used to, and providing an exceptional customer experience, just like at a boutique hotel.

What is Supima cotton and how is it better for me?
Not all kinds of cotton are equal. Supima and regular cotton are, in fact, two different species of cotton.
The most common type of cotton grown worldwide typically has a fiber length of only about 1 inch, whereas Supima cotton’s fiber averages 1.5 inches.
Shorter fibers produce yarns that are rougher and subject to pilling on the surface of the product, while longer fibers contribute to strength and softness.
Supima cotton is grown at 500 family-owned farms mainly located in California. It represents less than 1% of cotton grown worldwide and is the most expensive widely commercially available cotton in the world due to its high quality standards and commitment to sustainable farming.
How does the Finca Bathrobe and The Hôtel Bathrobe differe from each other?
The design and the fabric is the same on both the The Hôtel Bathrobe and The Finca Bathrobe. However, The Finca Bathrobe has a pattern, which is made with a yarn-dye (two different colored threads).
How heavy is the bath robes?
The robes are made with 700 GSM lightly twisted terry cloth, providing a luxurious feel due to its heavy weight.
What size is best for me?
Our bathrobes come in three sizes (Extra Small, Small/Medium and Large/Extra Large) and are generously sized for a loose and comfortable fit.
Extra Small is made for people under 165 cm. Small/Medium is made for people below 175 centimeters. Larger is made for people above 175 centimeters.
Can I try the robe at home?
Yes, you can order the robe and try it at home. If the size or color is incorrect, we are happy to assist you. Additionally, if you are not satisfied with the robe, you can return it for a full refund within 30 days of your order date.
Can I buy it in a store?
Juniper has an store at Grev Turegatan 50 in Stockholm. We would love to meet you there!
What are the washing guidelines?
You wash the bathrobe in the best way with low heat, low spin, and either do not tumble dry at all or tumble dry gently.
