MINORS, UNDER THE AGE OF 18, HAS LIMIT CAPACITY TO ENTERING AN PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH JUNIPER
A child who has not reached the age of 18 usually needs the parents’ permission to enter into an agreement and buy things (Chapter 9, Section 1 of the Swedish Parental Code – FB). This means that your child is not allowed to buy things at www.jun-per.com because he/she is under 18 years old. If a purchase has nevertheless been completed, the agreement must generally be regarded as invalid, provided that approval from you as a guardian is lacking. Such an invalid purchase shall result in the purchase being canceled and money and goods going back (Chapter 9, Sections 6-7 FB). However, there are exceptions if she/he has received approval from you before or after an agreement is in place.
The parents’ consent does not have to be explicit, but can be a so-called silent, or implied, consent. If the parents have provided their child with money, and the child buys something that may be considered normal in view of age, it is often assumed that there is tacit consent.
If your child has made a purchase that you don’t approve please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and inform that the child did not have your approval. We will provide you with a return slip for the order and you will get a full refund as soon as the package has been delivered to us.
