Our bed linens

Juniper offers the best bed linens money can buy and yet always keeps the next generation of dreamers in mind during the production process. How? To explain, we have to delve into the science of cotton, fabric, and production.

Supima cotton

Not all cottons are created equal. In fact, Supima cotton is not even the same species as regular cotton. Supima cotton is grown in about 500 family owned farms. Their land is their legacy and great care is taken to preserve the health of the soil and conserve the water that nourishes it. All farms use state of the art technology and follow a zero-waste model, utilizing every single part of the cotton plant at harvest. Through a collaboration with Oritain, Supima is forensically able to authenticate its sought after cotton across the entire supply chain from the fiber and yarn to the fabric and finished product that arrives at your doorstep.

Taking everything into account, we, at Juniper, believe Supima is the best cotton for the environment, the workers in the field, and the end-user.

Softer fabric

Supima is inherently softer due to its extra-long staple fiber. The length of the fiber produces smoother, cleaner yarns that result in a softer fabric that resists pilling. This means that your products will feel sumptuously soft and only get softer as time passes.

Stronger fibers

Supima is twice as strong as regular cotton, which makes for extraordinarily resilient products. The longer fiber resists pulling, breaking and tearing, resulting in bed linens that are incredibly resilient and keep its form for a longer-lasting product.

Vibrant colors

Supima’s finer fibers absorb dye with a deep, long- lasting penetration. The result are bed linens that retains color better than regular cottons. Supima products keep their brilliance wash after wash, giving you many years of use.

“Without transparency, sustainability cannot be claimed or verified.”

Fabric & Production

Using the finest cotton on earth is a must to create truly outstanding bed linens. However, it is only the beginning of the journey. Next, highly skilled textile artisans with decades of experience take over.

The fabric is created by spinning fine yarns and creating a luxurious sateen weave. The weave is then 100% organically dyed with its final color.
The fabric is then cut, stitched, and trimmed into the product that eventually arrives at your doorstep. Finally, before leaving the factory, all products are washed, folded, and packed to give you that amazing crisp feeling when you first open your Juniper bedding.

Light and breathable

Juniper’s bed linens are exclusively created using Supima cotton which has Extra Long Staples (ELS). From the cotton we create a single-ply yarn which is only possible because of the extra long fibers. In the end, it allows us to create a light and breathable sateen weave which offers just the right amount of breathability and warmth to keep the whole family sleeping like babies.

Smooth and ultra-soft

Thread count is the number of threads woven together in a square inch of fabric. As the thread count rises, the fabric becomes softer, denser and warmer. Hence, you must strike the perfect balance to achieve just the right feeling. Our bed linens are made in a 482 thread count weave, it is incredibly smooth, yet breathable, exactly like you want it.
