How to Make Your Bedroom Feel Like a Luxury Hotel – With Just 3 Simple Upgrades
There’s something special about stepping into a beautiful hotel room. The bed is perfectly made, the lighting soft, and the space feels like a true retreat.
When I started Juniper, my goal was to bring that feeling home.
If you’ve ever wondered how to style your bedroom to feel like a hotel suite — it’s simpler than you think. Here are my favorite ways to create that experience, every day.
1. Start with hotel-quality bedding
For me, it always starts with the bed. There’s just nothing better than slipping into soft, breathable sheets at the end of the day. That’s why we made our Juniper bedding in 100% Supima cotton — smooth, airy, and supersoft. I would higlhy recommend our Snow White and Beach Sand, those colors make the whole room feel calm and fresh, just like a hotel.

2. Layer your textiles
One of my favourite tricks to make any bedroom feel more luxurious is to work with layers. Think throws, bedspreads, and extra cushions in different textures.
I love mixing materials and add decorative pillows. Not only does it add depth and warmth, but it’s also an easy way to change the mood of your space with the seasons.

3. Finish with personal, sensory details
For me, no space is complete without scent. It’s such a powerful way to set the mood. In my own home, I light one of our Juniper candles every evening. Château Noir is my go-to for a cosy, earthy atmosphere, with black pepper, rose, and a warm base of sandalwood and vanilla. If I want something fresher, I reach for Mont Fort — it reminds me of mountain air and open spaces.
Add fresh flowers, your favourite books, and a few well-chosen details, and you’ve created a little everyday escape right at home.
